OSP's Press Section operates sheet and web-fed lithographic presses. The mix of presses allows OSP to produce a wide variety of high- quality printed products.
Sheetfed Presses
 A six-color plus coater, Heidelberg 40-inch lithographic press is the headliner of our sheetfed department, offering the highest quality for small- and medium-run color printing. Beautiful full-color posters, maps and magazines are typical products from this press.
Web Presses
For high-volume printing OSP utilizes a Heidelberg/Harris M1000 eight-unit, four web, 38-inch press. This press allows up to 8/8 color printing and speeds up to 50,000 impressions per hour. Web printing provides cost-efficient, large-run, high-quality printing. This area specializes in legislative publications, books, publications and newsletters for local, state and federal governmental agencies.
Forms Presses
Specialized forms presses offer custom multi-part forms utilizing carbon interleaf and carbonless papers. We offer 50-inch preprinted rolls for agencies doing large volume on-demand printing internally. Forms printed on these presses include Franchise Tax Board forms, business forms for the Board of Equalization, hunting and fishing applications for the Department of Fish and Game, Voter Registration Cards, as well as many other forms commonly used in government service.
Envelope Printing
Envelope printing is processed through our high-speed, high-quality Halm Jet presses. |
